A touching moment between an IPS officer and his daughter has captured the hearts of netizens and gone viral online. On the eve of Father’s Day, a photograph surfaced showing IPS officer N Venkateswarlu saluting his daughter, N Uma Harathi, who has recently become a probationary Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer. This heartfelt gesture underscores the pride and joy a parent feels when their child surpasses their own achievements.

N Venkateswarlu, who holds the position of Superintendent of Police (SP) and Deputy Director at the Telangana State Police Academy (TSPA), was seen honoring his daughter, who secured All India Rank 3 in the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) 2022 examination. The event took place during a seminar at the TSPA, where IAS trainees were in attendance.

N Uma Harathi, part of the 2022 IAS batch, is currently undergoing a training program at the Dr. Marri Chenna Reddy Human Resource Development Institute of Telangana (MCRHRD) from May 20 to June 30, 2024. The photo of her father saluting her not only symbolizes immense parental pride but also reflects the significant milestone she has achieved in her career.

The moment was particularly poignant as it came just before Father’s Day, adding an emotional layer to the occasion. The image quickly resonated with many, symbolizing the dreams of countless parents and the heights to which their children can aspire. The training session provided an opportunity for the IAS probationers to learn about the TSPA’s role, its training methodologies, and various other functions.

This story, beyond its viral photograph, highlights the dedication and success of individuals in public service and the supportive familial bonds that often accompany such accomplishments.
